Crafty Creme Crochet 2

Crafty Creme Karen and myself have just pencilled in the next crochet workshop to be held at Cafe Creme in Penistone.

We’ve had a lot of people enquiring about what is coming next, so here you go…

It is on Thursday the 9th February, 6pm onwards, in the Cafe on Penistone High Street. The address is 9 High Street, Penistone, S36 6BR if you are unsure of the location.

This time we will be making a simple beanie hat.  It is crocheted using my Rock Beanie pattern.  You will get the yarn, the pattern, coffee (or other drink) and cake all included in the workshop fee, as well as tuition and as much laughter and merriment as we can squeeze in.

You will need to bring your own crochet hook, size 6mm, if you have one, otherwise I have a few that can be purchased for a measly fee on the day.  The yarn we will be using is a blend of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic, great for folks who complain about woolly hats being itchy, this stuff definitely isn’t.  You can choose your colours, I have plenty to choose from, and make your beanie in whatever style you like.

I just need to point out that whilst this beanie is really easy to make, a little bit of crochet know how is required. If you are a complete beginner who has never done any crochet before then this is not the workshop for you, we will do some absolute beginner workshops another time.  If you can do the basic stitches, with a bit of prompting if needed, or you are an experienced crocheter then come along and join in.

So, if you would like to join us, get in touch with Karen at Cafe Creme and book a place.  The total cost is £19 per person.. Hopefully see you there.
